Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Avram Terzian got the match started through his kick off. Marcel Bântu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Terzian, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Marcel Bântu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu. In the 7th minute, Doru Opincaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Pădureanu in the 11th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Marcel Bântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gelu Agârbiceanu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Agârbiceanu couldn't finish the play. In the 15thth minute of the game Nicolae Pădureanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcel Bântu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Emilian Todoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Ovidiu Agulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Agulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Pădureanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcel Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Avram Terzian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Agulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Terzian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marcel Bântu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Vaslui's zone, Ovidiu Agulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Bântu came out of the goal and Ovidiu Agulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Marcel Bântu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Terzian. In the 45th minute, FC Maci -MM-'s Eugen Spoială dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Emilian Todoran made the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Agulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Bântu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidiu Agulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcel Bântu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Pădureanu in the 55th minute of play. Avram Terzian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Avram Terzian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Bântu. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avram Terzian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Gelu Agârbiceanu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Agârbiceanu couldn't finish the play. Marcel Bântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Pădureanu in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Agârbiceanu came free, but Marcel Bântu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Eugen Spoială managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Spoială was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Bântu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Bamidele Monday Vennegoor Of Hesselink. Marcel Bântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Pădureanu in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Vaslui defense, Gelu Agârbiceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Bântu. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Bântu should have stopped the shot. Teodor Oneț might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Savin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Oneț ran back to his position shaking his head. When Alex Encuțoiu fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maci -MM-'s protests and gave Alex Encuțoiu a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, Gelu Agârbiceanu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcel Bântu. Marcel Bântu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcel Bântu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Agârbiceanu went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
