Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mircea Jupân in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Ignătoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Barbonța came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC PunisherS™ were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihnea Costea took the corner. Costin Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Fecioru in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Mădălin Barbonța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, AFC PunisherS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Hrandabur to maneuver through the defense. Costin Ignătoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgil Jupân went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Isac Frunză fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Covrig having to interfere. AFC PunisherS™'s Mădălin Barbonța got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Golo Phoenix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costin Ignătoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 45th minute Golo Phoenix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Ignătoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Barbonța was the one to do the kick off. Mădălin Barbonța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vlad Covrig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costin Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Jupân, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after AFC PunisherS™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sorin Nicorici took the corner. Costin Ignătoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mircea Jupân's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. AFC PunisherS™:s Costin Ignătoiu showed great skill when he stopped Lucian Şimonca:s penalty. 71 minutes into the game, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Lucian Şimonca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Costin Ignătoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 74 minutes into the game, Mihnea Costea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC PunisherS™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca the free kick. In the 75th minute, Florin Hrandabur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Frunză took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Costin Ignătoiu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84th minute of the match Strong Phoenix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costin Ignătoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes in the game Nae Malcoci did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sever Ţurcaş. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Jupân in the 92nd minute of play. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Barbonța in the 97th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca played a much better game than AFC PunisherS™ and deserved their victory. The AFC PunisherS™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
