Henk Veerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Greger Fribäck made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pantelis Kotoulas made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Veerman in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greger Fribäck saved Real Salsa F.C. from getting behind. Henk Veerman took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greger Fribäck. Greger Fribäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henk Veerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Greger Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Salsa F.C.'s Davut Akadlı was substituted for Ferdinho Wolf. In the 72nd minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Henk Veerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greger Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Yaşar Recai in the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Real Salsa F.C.'s Ximenes Oñatibia made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cihan Zafer was left in no man's land by his defense there!
