In the 13th minute Gilberto Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Prieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CeciForEver's Saul Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Alabern in the 15th minute of play. Saul Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prometeo Perpiñán in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Carlitos Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Garzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the CeciForEver defense, Epifanio Alabern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Berto. The CeciForEver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Berto should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Epifanio Alabern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Berto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 31st minute, Ubarna Carro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Garzon in the 44th minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Saul Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Nicholas. Antonio Zaplana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Berto. CeciForEver's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Saul Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlitos Garzon in the 90th minute of the match. If Prometeo Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Berto was a little too slow when Carlitos Garzon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-5.
