A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Casey Sousa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Lloyd in the 9th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Saul Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Aaron Llorienzo put in a rough tackle. In the 11th minute, one of LA MAQUINA F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LA MAQUINA F.C. LA MAQUINA F.C:s Saul Muc showed great skill when he stopped Al Scott:s penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Al Scott notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LA MAQUINA F.C's Saul Muc. Saul Muc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Henry Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Muc came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Mohammed Lloyd. But to his dismay, Mohammed Lloyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Jimeno Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal and Jimeno Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, LA MAQUINA F.C's Dillon McDonough threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimeno Estevon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. LA MAQUINA F.C's Esteve Amato was substituted for Patricio Eder. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Mikelar in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, LA MAQUINA F.C's German Mikelar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dillon McDonough made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 43 minutes, Alberto Baca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Miami Futbol Club and the LA MAQUINA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dillon McDonough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Marko in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Alfonzo Wolfe was substituted for Al Scott. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Jeffrey Chen replaced Geoff Coronado. The wind increased when Mohammed Lloyd made the kick off in the second half. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Estevon in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Llope in the 60th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA MAQUINA F.C's Saul Muc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save LA MAQUINA F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Martin Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Martin Marko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Casey Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LA MAQUINA F.C's Cayetano Duardo was substituted for Esteve Amato. Saul Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Metcalf in the 78th minute of play. Saul Muc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Chen in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Santos Metcalf got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Santos Metcalf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Jermaine Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dillon McDonough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Mikelar in the 95th minute of the match. The nice shot from Jeffrey Chen in the 97thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Saul Muc had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Miami Futbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
