Grêmio 20 Julho's Nilmar da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Oces in the 2nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Grêmio 20 Julho defense, Robin Oces kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilmar da Fonseca. The Grêmio 20 Julho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilmar da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Grêmio 20 Julho got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Souto. After 22 played minutes ...Pingue S.C.... got a freekick which was hit by Robin Oces. A collision led to Grêmio 20 Julho getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sidnei Santos hit a great ball. Xizavier Monterinos took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar da Fonseca. Nilmar da Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Grêmio 20 Julho's Nilmar da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio 20 Julho from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Vicente Villaverde reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilmar da Fonseca. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 36th match minute, Grêmio 20 Julho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes, ...Pingue S.C....'s Robin Oces shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilmar da Fonseca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ...Pingue S.C.... reached it. In the 39th match minute, Grêmio 20 Julho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Zanette to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when Grêmio 20 Julho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Branco's late challenge caught a ...Pingue S.C....'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Augusto Branco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when Grêmio 20 Julho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xizavier Monterinos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, ...Pingue S.C....'s Xizavier Monterinos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilmar da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilmar da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Villaverde in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oces came free, but Nilmar da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilmar da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Oces in the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Robin Oces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Robin Oces had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilmar da Fonseca. Grêmio 20 Julho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin Oces was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some careless play in the Grêmio 20 Julho defense, Robin Oces kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilmar da Fonseca. The Grêmio 20 Julho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilmar da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. When ...Pingue S.C....'s Robin Oces in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
