When Del Cleveland fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khachatryan's protests and gave Del Cleveland a yellow card for diving instead. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khachatryan the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of GuateFortín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Khachatryan:s goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
