Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Clemencin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Amado Jordão 12 minutes into the match. Punk Fiction's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guanacos the free kick. Guanacos's Robustiano Botello was substituted for Ricardo Ekaitz. In the 22nd match minute, Punk Fiction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Olivar to maneuver through the defense. When Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanacos's goalie prevented a goal. Amado Jordão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Guanacos's Amado Jordão threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Pierres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Nayely in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Orlandus saved Guanacos from getting behind. Melquiades Librado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Nayely to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Nayely got free with Marcial Orlandus in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Nayely came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcial Orlandus could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Librado in the 64th minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Clemencin in the 65th minute of play. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pierres in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes Guanacos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Gagriel who took care of the corner kick. Eleuterio Gagriel made a great header on Punk Fiction's corner, it was just that Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus managed to reach the ball for a save. After 73 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Tancredo. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Esdras in the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Gilberto Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 83rd minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 85th minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Pinto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Librado in the 90th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guanacos had played much better football throughout.
