With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Eudoxio in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farid Mondragón saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Moscovi Ψ's corner Fabrizio Angileri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Farid Mondragón quite easily take care of the ball. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Bamford in the 29th minute of play. Farid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Bamford, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Bamford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sid Chadwick got free with Kiliz Mauleon in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Kiliz Mauleon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xu Yun Quan. In the 47th minute, Xu Yun Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xu Yun Quan was the one to do the kick off. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Eudoxio in the 56th minute of play. If Edgard Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón got control of the ball when Edgard Eudoxio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Eudoxio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farid Mondragón having to make a save. Edgard Eudoxio came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Farid Mondragón could save by the left post. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Moscovi Ψ's Edgard Eudoxio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Farid Mondragón. After 67 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Kerry Sellers. Moscovi Ψ's Edu Gol was substituted for Edgard Eudoxio. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Gol in the 72nd minute of play. Kiliz Mauleon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Chadwick in the 73rd minute of play. C. A. Independiente's Sidney Forbes was substituted for Xu Yun Quan. In the 75th minute C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner. Kerry Sellers went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute, Edu Gol made a precise shot to the right of Farid Mondragón. C. A. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Gol in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Moscovi Ψ's Edu Gol made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Farid Mondragón was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Gol came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Gol in the 91st minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, one of C. A. Independiente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the final whistle sounded Moscovi Ψ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Independiente.
