Aitor Branca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Aitor Branca took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aitor Branca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farid Mondragón having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Aitor Branca could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Farid Mondragón however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Dolar Blue Ψ booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerry Sellers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aitor Branca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Mondragón having to interfere. Sid Chadwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Chadwick in the 35th minute of the match. Sid Chadwick struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Javier Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Independiente. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aitor Branca got free with Farid Mondragón in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dolar Blue Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdemar Holm in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Chu Xiang Li got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Farid Mondragón quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Claudio Marangoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

After a rather tough play, Dolar Blue Ψ's Maximo Dei got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Javier Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
