Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Bengtsson in the 57th minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Iraitz in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Anastasio Iraitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Guilherme Basso sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Kåre Uter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pepe Santoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Independiente's Pepe Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Sören Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Bengtsson came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Cordeal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Plebeyos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
