Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anastasio Iraitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Hélder Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Hélder Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. A collision led to CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hélder Fonseca hit a great ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albert Einstein was slow to take the kick. During this time CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Albert Einstein to fire away a dangerous shot which Pepe Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Pepe Santoro managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Hélder Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hélder Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Hélder Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes of play, Independiente's Anastasio Iraitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Aalberts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pepe Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute Jorg Pieters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Aalberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Aalberts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Pieters in the 35th minute of the match. Hélder Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Pepe Santoro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Independiente's Pepe Santoro got control of the ball when Hélder Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hélder Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorg Pieters got free with Vincent Aalberts in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Iraitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Aalberts was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Vincent Aalberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Pepe Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marios Theodorou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Hélder Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ made a substitution. Mateo Nuno replaced Marios Theodorou. Vincent Aalberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Reynaldo Abadia with Mateo Mendez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Independiente's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Abadia. Rigan Frankson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pepe Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Vincent Aalberts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ from getting a goal against them. Anastasio Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Vincent Aalberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Iraitz in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rigan Frankson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Santoro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Albert Einstein hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Independiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
