Patricius Lafranchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Khalid Gottschalk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalid Gottschalk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Godoy's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rory Restaino helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Hemmersbacher SV got a freekick which was hit by Rory Restaino. Khalid Gottschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricius Lafranchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gutierre Lauri to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gutierre Lauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ämmer Sportfreaks's supporters rose to their feet, but Gutierre Lauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Gottschalk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute Gutierre Lauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Gottschalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Silverio Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hemmersbacher SV made a substitution. Patricius Lafranchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Gottschalk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricius Lafranchi ran back to his position shaking his head.
