In the 9th minute, Niko Schmitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Büdlich-Breit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Bastian Hoeber threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricius Lafranchi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the match, FC Büdlich-Breit's goal looked a bit too open when Patricius Lafranchi came free, but Bastian Hoeber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, FC Büdlich-Breit's Peer Jagenburg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Peer Jagenburg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Büdlich-Breit protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Peer Jagenburg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 23rd minute Willem Rinert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Hoeber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Hoeber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Godoy in the 25th minute of play. When Ämmer Sportfreaks's Gutierre Lauri in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 28th minute of play forced FC Büdlich-Breit's goalkeeper Bastian Hoeber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Patrick Schreiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Büdlich-Breit's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Schreiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Maina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Wirkner in the 31st minute of play. Bastian Hoeber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ämmer Sportfreaks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Willem Rinert in the 35th minute. Fergus Maina came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Büdlich-Breit's Jörn Domeier. But to his dismay, Jörn Domeier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. FC Büdlich-Breit's Bastian Hoeber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 41st minute of play. Horacio Ignatius's late challenge caught a FC Büdlich-Breit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Ignatius helped the player get up and apologised. Fergus Maina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Schreiner went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
The wind increased when Gutierre Lauri made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Patrick Schreiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ämmer Sportfreaks made a substitution. Alwin Känel replaced Gutierre Lauri. Niko Schmitz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The FC Büdlich-Breit supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Büdlich-Breit would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
