Maurice Buttliger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gutierre Lauri's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurice Buttliger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricius Lafranchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ämmer Sportfreaks getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dan Gerber hit a great ball. Maurice Buttliger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierre Lauri in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 47th minute of play forced Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper Maurice Buttliger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Hemmersbacher SV made a substitution. Adalbero Bohren replaced Fréderic Brun. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gutierre Lauri was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper Maurice Buttliger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gutierre Lauri. Fergus Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Brandenberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergus Maina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Gutierre Lauri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurice Buttliger. Gutierre Lauri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. When Patricius Lafranchi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maurice Buttliger was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alwin Känel took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Buttliger. Maurice Buttliger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With his leg Maurice Buttliger managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute Silverio Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Buttliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemmersbacher SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Alwin Känel scored to the left of an out of position Maurice Buttliger, making the score, 0-4. 95 minutes into the game, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Silverio Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurice Buttliger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Ämmer Sportfreaks left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hemmersbacher SV.
