Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pat Eggers started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pat Eggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Burkhardt Teubler was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Biene Maja 09 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Thaddäus Götze hit a great ball. Timoteo Kuhn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burkhardt Teubler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Liver Bird were awarded a corner. Nathaniel Howald went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Silvain Zimmermann managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Eggers in the 22nd minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Nils Hydén from a close distance when the talented Stig Verlengia managed to make a qualified save. Liver Bird's players were relieved. Ross Flückiger hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Timoteo Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhardt Teubler having to interfere. Stig Verlengia made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Erling Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. Nils Hydén's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stig Verlengia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfred Parolini kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Stig Verlengia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Hydén who took care of the corner kick. Erik Stratthaus made a great header on Biene Maja 09's corner, it was just that Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia managed to reach the ball for a save. If Nils Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erling Gustafsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ullrich Böhlert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Liver Bird's Clinton Werfel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Burkhardt Teubler. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. With a little luck, Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler got control of the ball when Timoteo Kuhn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Biene Maja 09 from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Nils Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ullrich Böhlert hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Biene Maja 09 got a freekick which was hit by Thaddäus Götze. Liver Bird's Raffaele Mutach was substituted for Alfred Parolini. In the 66th minute, Thaddäus Götze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match, Aris Kalogeros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Burkhardt Teubler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 75th minute of the match Liver Bird got a corner. Biene Maja 09's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nathaniel Howald ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nathaniel Howald got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Burkhardt Teubler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler got control of the ball when Clinton Werfel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liver Bird's Dimitris Rapsopodis was substituted for Pat Eggers. Liver Bird were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Biene Maja 09's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nathaniel Howald took the corner. The supporters of Biene Maja 09 booed when Liver Bird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvain Zimmermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Ullrich Böhlert came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Biene Maja 09 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Volker Hanisch hit a great ball. Jacques La Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Burkhardt Teubler made a huge save. Burkhardt Teubler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Rapsopodis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burkhardt Teubler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Rapsopodis in the 95th minute of play. The Biene Maja 09 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Liver Bird's performance. The match ended with a win for Liver Bird.
