The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Wielowiejski in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Verlengia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Liver Bird's Pat Eggers in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarada's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Adam Wielowiejski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Stig Verlengia to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute of the match Liver Bird got a corner. Tarada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nathaniel Howald ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Eggers in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Pat Eggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes Tarada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nathaniel Howald who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 27 in the game by Arthur Hengemühl from a close distance when the talented Stig Verlengia managed to make a qualified save. Liver Bird's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 29th minute of play forced Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clinton Werfel might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrick Zeier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clinton Werfel ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Stig Verlengia managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Tarada's Arthur Hengemühl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clinton Werfel in the 38th minute of play. Adam Wielowiejski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Verlengia having to make a save. The supporters of Tarada booed when Liver Bird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goran Junod didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Wielowiejski to make the kick off. With a little luck, Tarada's Henrick Zeier got control of the ball when Pat Eggers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 minutes Tarada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nathaniel Howald who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Clinton Werfel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrick Zeier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Timoteo Kuhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Henrick Zeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Liver Bird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ross Flückiger to maneuver through the defense. If Pat Eggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liver Bird's Raffaele Mutach was substituted for Alfred Parolini. Arthur Hengemühl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Verlengia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Henrick Zeier made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Pat Eggers sent off a good shot on target. Pat Eggerss short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Henrick Zeier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Adam Wielowiejski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Verlengia was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 79th minute of play forced Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Pat Eggers came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clinton Werfel took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrick Zeier. Henrick Zeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lamontagne in the 89th minute of the match. Tarada's Henrick Zeier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Tizian Lengen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liver Bird the free kick. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tizian Lengen hit a great ball. Henrick Zeier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nathaniel Howald. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
