In the 15th minute Alain Berset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotrek Zielinski in the 18th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Berset's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrick Zeier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Aarflot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, Tarada's Stian Aarflot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregor Kobel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's Alain Berset sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrick Zeier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrick Zeier saved Tarada from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Aarflot came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espen Steelers's Albert Einstein got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobie Canclini in the 43rd minute of the match. Arthur Hengemühl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tarada made a substitution. Florian Walther replaced Piotrek Zielinski. The wind increased when Alain Berset made the kick off in the second half. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marco Odermatt hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Alain Berset notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tarada's Henrick Zeier. Henrick Zeier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serge Jeanneret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Giancarlo Weissmuller replaced Roman Beljean. In the 73rd minute, Ingo Minder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Aarflot, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Montez in the 75th minute of play. Rogelio Montezs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Henrick Zeier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stan Wawrinka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrick Zeier came out and tried to block the shot, but Stan Wawrinka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrick Zeier was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stan Wawrinka got free with Henrick Zeier in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Montez in the 95th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espen Steelers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
