Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alain Berset got the match started through his kick off. Alain Berset's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aimé Holtmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann got control of the ball when Alain Berset tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alain Berset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aimé Holtmann having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Agapito Diaz came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alain Berset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aimé Holtmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alain Berset in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alain Berset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alain Berset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aimé Holtmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Temeswar Banat from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Agapito Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aimé Holtmann made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alain Berset sent off a good shot on target. If Alain Berset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espen Steelers's Williams Imholz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aimé Holtmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC Temeswar Banat's Wen Fan Ting got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half FC Temeswar Banat were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agapito Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Giancarlo Weissmuller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Alain Berset made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aimé Holtmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Temeswar Banat's goalkeeper Aimé Holtmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregor Kobel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trendafil Dzhendov in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Adrian Neubauer took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gregor Kobel to make any attempt to save it. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Roman Beljean replaced Alberto Giacometti. Espen Steelers's Alex Ioneasa was substituted for Marco Odermatt. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Montez in the 73rd minute of play. Aimé Holtmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Montez's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Agapito Diaz came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agapito Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Agapito Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Temeswar Banat's Agapito Diaz managed to work through Espen Steelers's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Agapito Diaz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Giancarlo Weissmuller hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Temeswar Banat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
