Alexander Setzinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Konstantakakis having to interfere. In the 24th minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Andrej Kramarić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dinu Bocu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörg Wagner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devran Aktürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's zone, Dinu Bocu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörg Wagner came out of the goal and Dinu Bocu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Kramarić in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devran Aktürk in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Konstantakakis saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. Jörg Wagner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dinu Bocu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play.
