The Olympique Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristan Arioli should have stopped the shot. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Esiquio in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Plouffe in the 16th minute of play forced B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Fribourg from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Maximino Goi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tristan Arioli to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Esiquio came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
