Don Merlot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Goethe having to interfere. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pekin Energin in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Luscher in the 6th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Monschke in the 7th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Goethe made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Niclas Monschke sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhard Neoral in the 11th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kryspin Cupial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekin Energin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekin Energin in the 17th minute of play. Don Merlot might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Goethe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Merlot ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Friesenwerdermoor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niclas Monschke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Monschke got free with Prospero Goethe in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Don Merlot came free, but Prospero Goethe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 29th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSV Ulm 1846's Sven-Olof Lilja quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jona Hegekötter, made in the 31st minute of the game. Niclas Monschke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Goethe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Don Merlot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Goethe was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 41 minutes in the game Jona Hegekötter did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lennard Rossmanith. 41 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Luscher came free, but Kryspin Cupial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SSV Ulm 1846 defense, Hermann Luscher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Cupial. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Cupial should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Monschke got free with Prospero Goethe in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Merlot was the one to do the kick off. Kryspin Cupial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennard Rossmanith in the 51st minute. Prospero Goethe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Merlot in the 54th minute of the match. Niclas Monschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Prospero Goethe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Monschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Goethe having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Luscher came free, but Kryspin Cupial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Goethe came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Niclas Monschke. But to his dismay, Niclas Monschke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Friesenwerdermoor's Iwan Dziechciowski was substituted for Pekin Energin. Prospero Goethe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Monschke in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwan Dziechciowski. When Iwan Dziechciowski got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Kryspin Cupial was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermann Luscher in the 77th minute of play. Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Merlot in the 87th minute of play. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Merlot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albrecht Bosbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
