Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. László Illés received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo James came out and tried to block the shot, but László Illés slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Faustino Tono came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Baraja Española FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Tono couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Mauricio Galtero notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Patagonicos FC's Wilfredo James. Wilfredo James was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eustaquio Javiar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramon Quirce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play.
