Blas Urtungo started the match with the kick off. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Conor Gallagher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo Pacorro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ferreyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 19th minute of play. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Urtungo in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Urtungo in the 30th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Julio Errando made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Maximo Bertol. Martín Ferreyra scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Pacorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Liu Yang Feng was substituted for Maximo Bertol. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Cordero was the one to do the kick off. Teo Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marcelo Cordero sent off a good shot on target. If Blas Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Xacintu's late challenge caught a Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Xacintu. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro got control of the ball when Marcelo Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes, Marcelo Cordero made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Zheng Jing Feng replaced Marcelo Cordero. Piara Lider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. Teo Pacorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zheng Jing Feng's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Zheng Jing Feng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Pacorro was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
