With a little luck, Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Helström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aderbal Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Straedelburgh booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Monvoisin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aderbal Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bottone, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ramiro Gabrio was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Karl-Michael Helström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Michael Helström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Santos Txaran made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sílvio Ferrão. In the 31st minute, André Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hektor Liberoyiannis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Berserkers FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hektor Liberoyiannis couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Juan-Ramón Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aderbal Santos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Aderbal Santos came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón. But to his dismay, Juan-Ramón Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Straedelburgh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berserkers FC Ψ were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Ramón Verón to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Sílvio Ferrão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Ferrão in the 64th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juan-Ramón Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Berserkers FC Ψ's Aderbal Santos threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan-Ramón Verón, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Berserkers FC Ψ's Elvio Ted was substituted for Steve Harris. 71 minutes into the game, Alexander Bottone recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aderbal Santos. Alexander Bottone showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aderbal Santos saved Straedelburgh from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Juan Ignacio Circelli took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Aderbal Santos to make any attempt to save it. Aderbal Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 96th minute of the match. Aderbal Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Berserkers FC Ψ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
