After 2 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Cuartio. Albano Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Santiago Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Santiago Abreu scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 minutes of play, Celestiales's Santiago Abreu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Glogowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Abreu in the 20th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albano Millan was slow to take the kick. During this time Celestiales's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Albano Millan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski did a great save. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Brion in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Celestiales's Santiago Abreu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Glogowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Santiago Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Brion in the 34th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Abreu in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Celestiales were awarded a corner. Albano Millan went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Rigoberto Botello heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Celestiales's Bennvar Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Celestiales made a substitution. Isaias Laurin replaced Saverio Brion. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Abreu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abreu came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isaias Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celestiales's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestiales's Bennvar Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 82nd minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. Eustaquio Eudoxio in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
