An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Abreu in the 3rd minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Teves might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bennvar Noobel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Teves ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Teves came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Santiago Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 16th minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Esiquio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Celestiales's Santiago Abreu. But to his dismay, Santiago Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abreu came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 龚震泉 got free with Bennvar Noobel in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Abreu in the 27th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Laurin in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Carlos Teves made a precise shot to the right of Bennvar Noobel. Celestiales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Santiago Abreu sped through La Guardia Imperial's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atilano Esiquio. In the 41st minute Carlos Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennvar Noobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Guillermo Dolcet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Santiago Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestiales made a substitution. Cornelio Domeka replaced Isaias Laurin. The La Guardia Imperial players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Celestiales were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Abreu made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Santiago Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestiales's Evandro Maranhense was substituted for Magnus Ahlén. Atilano Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Eustaquio Eudoxio sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Eudoxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Atilano Esiquio made a huge save. Eustaquio Eudoxio took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Esiquio. Atilano Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 77 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Eudoxio. In the 83rd minute, Cornelio Domeka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atilano Esiquio. The goal made the score 1-5. Eustaquio Eudoxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Atilano Esiquio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 89th minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Celestiales booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Eudoxio got free with Atilano Esiquio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Celestiales fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Celestiales's Eustaquio Eudoxio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The La Guardia Imperial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Celestiales were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
