Vicente Bartoleme came out of the goal and Domingos Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Rigoberto Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Lucado got free with Rigoberto Nazario in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mero in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven de Zwaan came free, but Vicente Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Lucado in the 17th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Aires in the 21st minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Vicente Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Aires in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Aires to make the kick off. Petruț Fințescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Bartoleme could save by the left post. In the 56th minute Domingos Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Rigoberto Lucado got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Sven de Zwaan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven de Zwaan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iurie Azamfirei hit a great ball. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Lucado in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Aires came free, but Vicente Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Petruț Fințescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Vicente Bartoleme however easily saved by the left post. Rigoberto Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Argentinos Juniors's Vicente Bartoleme threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domingos Aires, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vicente Bartoleme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Petruț Fințescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vicente Bartoleme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Västerberg in the 84th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robert Wilson came free, but Vicente Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Vicente Bartoleme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Vicente Bartoleme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven de Zwaan. If Sven de Zwaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
