The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquilino Arnau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's Moises Tuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Bembe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Maradona in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Villa La Perla booed when Los Golosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Maradona in the 21st minute of the match. Adan Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Arnau in the 27th minute of play. Moises Tuste took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Bembe. Adan Bembe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Villa La Perla's Alfonso Goyo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Ubarna, made in the 36th minute of the game. Adan Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Maradona in the 41st minute of play. Delmar Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tuste came free, but Adan Bembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Pelle Maradona sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Cleto Urti got a free kick in the 60th minute. Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tuste in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Omar Polentzi got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 67 played minutes, Los Golosos's Meng Shi Peng shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adan Bembe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Golosos reached it. With a little luck, Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos got control of the ball when Pelle Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmar Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Vilalobos having to interfere. Villa La Perla made a substitution. Cristobal Paez replaced Pelle Maradona. Adan Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Adan Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Villa La Perla defense, Nicolas Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Bembe. The Villa La Perla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Bembe should have stopped the shot. Adan Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Golosos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villa La Perla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
