Horácio Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Edvaldo de Barros got a free kick in the 14th minute. Arnaldo Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Varela came free, but Arnaldo Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ramón Marinho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes. Arnaldo Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Santos to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Edvaldo de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Nilmar Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Lenílson Santos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Donalton Meneses got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnaldo Lopes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wágner Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save AFC - Curitiba from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Régis Lima got a free kick in the 58th minute. Arnaldo Lopes came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Donalton Meneses. But to his dismay, Donalton Meneses quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Donalton Meneses could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Lopes made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Santos to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Lopes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Donalton Meneses sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Donalton Meneses reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnaldo Lopes. The goal made the score 0-4. Arnaldo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Varela in the 79th minute of play. AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC - Curitiba from getting a goal against them. When 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Donalton Meneses in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC - Curitiba's goalie prevented a goal. Arnaldo Lopes made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Donalton Meneses sent off a good shot on target. AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani do Vale in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Enéas Varela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Arnaldo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFC - Curitiba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
