After 9 minutes of play, Mestre GG's Dé Paiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Waldir Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl de Amaral. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldir Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gerson Ramos took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Paulo Baiano. João Paulo Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Dé Paiva came free, but João Paulo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DENVER™'s João Paulo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Fonseca in the 31st minute of play. João Paulo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Fonseca in the 35th minute of the match. Gino Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gino Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gino Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DENVER™. In the 42nd minute Dé Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Carneiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the match was over Mestre GG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DENVER™ throughout the match.
