After 12 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Cunha. Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Classe A Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Duarte took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúl de Amaral. Raúl de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Doriva Simão managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Mestre GG's Amadeu Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 19 minutes, Amadeu Pombal made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Francisco Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raúl de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Isaltino Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mestre GG and the Classe A Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Oliveira. Raúl de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Pernambucano in the 42nd minute of the match. Raúl de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Duarte went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Leandro Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Váldson Mazza was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramiro Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl de Amaral. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. Váldson Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Raúl de Amaral made a huge save. If Ramiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral got control of the ball when Leandro Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Duarte in the 68th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Classe A Futebol Clube's Ramiro Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raúl de Amaral. That made the score 1-4 after 71 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Isaltino Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Pena in the 84th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Cipriano de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Classe A Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mestre GG the free kick. When the match was over Classe A Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mestre GG throughout the match.
