After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's João Francisco de Mendonça got a free kick in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Vistruario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Madureira. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Ladio in the 16th minute. The corner ended in Saverio Ladio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira did a great save. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Lisandro Elia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Ekialde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 46th minute, Lucio Oliviero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Bartoleme in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to E.C 2 Janeiro RS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Paulo Pontes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Mingo in the 59th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ekialde in the 61st minute of play. Lucio Oliviero scored 6-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Bartoleme in the 68th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Paolo Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Mingo's late challenge caught a E.C 2 Janeiro RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Mingo helped the player get up and apologised. Celestino Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paulo Pontes's late challenge caught a ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Oliviero in the 93rd minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Celestino Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
