Red John S.K's Jean Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Pinho in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Adhemar Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Moreira in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luís Lima in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luís Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival Viana. Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio de Lima in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Sousa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Breno Ceresso. After 40th play minutes Erasmo Faria shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Cacá Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. Inácio de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Sousa having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Red John S.K's Pedro Luís Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adhemar Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá Sousa came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Red John S.K's Juan Velloso. But to his dismay, Juan Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Red John S.K made a substitution. Jaime Dionísio replaced Dalmo Passos. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Edgard Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Pedro Luís Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute Pedro Luís Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Red John S.K's Inácio de Lima in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. After 90 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Juan Velloso. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adhemar Pinho hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Red John S.K had won after a very even match.
