Octávio Moita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanderson Valadares went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute of the match, Cafu Catarinense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octávio Moita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 19 minutes, Wanderson Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jenipapo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SC Braga's Octávio Moita got control of the ball when Cafu Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandrino Bessa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Octávio Moita made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cafu Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Jenipapo SC's Alberto Couto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octávio Moita. Octávio Moita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, SC Braga's Octávio Moita got control of the ball when Wanderson Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octávio Moita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson Valadares in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes, Luan Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wanderson Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Moita having to interfere. Wanderson Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teófilo Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Cafu Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Octávio Moita. SC Braga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Catarinense in the 74th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Octávio Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
