Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raúl do Valle started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Queirós to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Isac Vasques hit a great ball. Leonardo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Figueiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Evandro Figueiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Figueiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Vianna. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Belo in the 38th minute of play. Leonardo Marques made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fabrício Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. Nada Pontual F.C's Leonardo Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Nada Pontual F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, Nada Pontual F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Falcão in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Pedro Avelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Evandro Figueiras came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Figueiras couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albérico Vilaverde was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albérico Vilaverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Nada Pontual F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Sena to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Avelar during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Braga! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Nada Pontual F.C. Natanael Castro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adelino Coelho. 0-1. After recieving a nice pass, Nada Pontual F.C's Natanael Castro tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Albérico Vilaverde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Braga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nada Pontual F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl do Valle got free with Adelino Coelho in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Teófilo Azevedo hit a great ball. If Raúl Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Adelino Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Falcão's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
