The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgard Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edgard Cearense got a free kick in the 11th minute. Deivid Moreira scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerson Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Sousa having to interfere. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. James Orange kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dé Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cacá Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dé Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were furious when Sorin Orange was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ! A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Isaltino Oliveira hit a great ball. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Ramos in the 33rd minute of play. Wilian Fonseca in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cacá Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Adhemar Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Raúl de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mestre GG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Paiva made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Deivid Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raúl de Amaral. Deivid Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Paiva in the 55th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Moreira in the 59th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cacá Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Christian Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adhemar Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Raúl de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Dé Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 81st minute, Deivid Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Raúl de Amaral. Mestre GG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Cacá Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dé Paiva went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Pombal came free, but Cacá Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mestre GG throughout the match.
