In the 10th minute, Benedito Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Orange in the 17th minute of play. James Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. James Orange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jean Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal de Queiroz in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Pedro Luís Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pedro Luís Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sorin Orange thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Cacá Sousa, a very annoying self made goal in the 44th minute which led to 0-2. Cacá Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio de Lima in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Milan da Freguesia F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Luís Lima made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luís Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilmar Berger's late challenge caught a Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar Berger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Nilmar Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Leme in the 61st minute. At last the ball reached Luís Paulo Zonta at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ. 0-3. In the 64th match minute, Milan da Freguesia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Leme to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Humberto Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Gabriel Leme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a corner. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Francisco Queirós was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean Donato in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Velloso in the 92nd minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edgard Cearense hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Nilmar Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Milan da Freguesia F.C..
