The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Paulo Dias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nada Pontual F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Paulo Dias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Nada Pontual F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mestre GG:s goal. Leonardo Marques had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping João Francisco Mota's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Raúl Bezerra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral. Raúl de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raúl de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Bezerra in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Nada Pontual F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Portugal to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl de Amaral having to interfere. Raúl do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raúl do Valle hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Mota in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Miguel Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nada Pontual F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Palmeira during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Raúl de Amaral made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes, Natanael Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nada Pontual F.C and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
