Fellipe Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Cacá Brodel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Abraão in the 7th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Brodel. 14 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Coutinho came free, but Almir Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Cacá Brodel got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Jonas Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaká Lopes. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaká Lopes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Magalhães in the 21st minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Almir Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Jardel Abraão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jenipapo SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙.
