Aírton Nóbrega started the match with the kick off. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Almir Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Murilo Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Jardel Abraão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brasilino's Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Jonas Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Hílton da Silveira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Kléberson Alves made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Jardel Abraão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Abraão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 35th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. When Ulisses Alves fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s protests and gave Ulisses Alves a yellow card for diving instead. Ulisses Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Abraão in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Almir Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aírton Nóbrega. In the 42nd match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Rosa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Arruda in the 45th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Abraão in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

55 minutes into the match, Jonas Arruda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Xavier, 0-5. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Abraão in the 61st minute of play. Jardel Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Murilo Pena got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Frank Senna made a precise shot to the right of Almir Machado. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Humberto Xavier came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Jardel Abraão. But to his dismay, Jardel Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 89th match minute, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Abraão in the 91st minute. If Jardel Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Arruda in the 95th minute of play. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ played a much better game than Brasilino and deserved their victory. The Brasilino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
