After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Raúl Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Campidelis. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Campidelis should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 8th minute of play. Pepe Portugal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Aloísio Chulapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl do Valle in the 17th minute of play. Bebeto Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Bezerra in the 26th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Gøl to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Pepe Portugal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Campidelis skillfully saved the ball. Bebeto Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Leonardo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Gøl in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Gøl got free with Leonardo Marques in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Nada Pontual F.C's Luiz Paulo Dias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Paulo Dias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nada Pontual F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Paulo Dias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 46 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Dias. Frederico Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Pepe Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raúl Bezerra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bebeto Campidelis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Geraldo Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonardo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Raúl Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Geraldo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Falcão. Bebeto Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Bezerra went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 96th minute of play. The Divina Comédia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nada Pontual F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Nada Pontual F.C.
