Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Adilson Tavares notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Adilson Tavares. But to his dismay, Adilson Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 13th minute, Eustaquio Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Adilson Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Joaquin Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eliseu Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Toscano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonatan Felipo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 36 minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Adilson Tavares made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Justin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capibaribe Stars were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Varela hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Justin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonatan Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Elpidio Shantala hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Elpidio Shantala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Elpidio Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute, Jonatan Felipo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. Basilio Justin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Tavares in the 77th minute. When Elpidio Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet.
