When Wilfredo Gaxan fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Wilfredo Gaxan a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gaxan in the 32nd minute of the match. Amadeo Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Aquiles Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Jose Tiso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aquiles Oihenarte.
