He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heavenly Hooters reached it. Renan Mendonça was a little too slow when Harold Lloyd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 17th minute, Harold Lloyd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Art 曹真 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Tróia in the 27th minute of play. Shawn Banks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Shawn Banks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the Catadão players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Shawn Banks hit a great ball. Catadão's Renan Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Catadão from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Ethan Zamora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renan Mendonça quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Heavenly Hooters fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Catadão's Jorge Massa got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renan Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Catadão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Max Langford came free, but Renan Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
