The corner ended in Jefferson Maia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SLB TELHA's Horácio Fontoura did a great save. In the 13th minute, Eurico Paes made a precise shot to the right of Horácio Fontoura. SLB TELHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Regueira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Maia in the 17th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Horácio Fontoura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Espinosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Fontoura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Maia in the 42nd minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Horácio Fontoura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesualdo Carvalho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of SLB TELHA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave 卡納里尼奧 FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Damasceno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SLB TELHA's Horácio Fontoura. 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Raposo made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Elias Damasceno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horácio Fontoura. Elias Damasceno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Armandinho Pombal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Jefferson Maia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Horácio Fontoura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elias Damasceno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Horácio Fontoura made a huge save. Gervásio Valadão hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Severino da Cunha replaced Sidnei Dionísio. In the 70th minute, Gervásio Valadão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Fontoura came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes. But to his dismay, Agostinho Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 80th minute Agostinho Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Fontoura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Severino da Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horácio Fontoura, 0-6. Armandinho Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armandinho Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armandinho Pombal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th play minute Elias Damasceno came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horácio Fontoura. 0-7. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nuno Modesto hit a great ball. Horácio Fontoura acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eurico Paes. In the 99th minute Jefferson Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Fontoura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over 卡納里尼奧 FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SLB TELHA throughout the match.
