Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lobo Guará's Cacá de Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 3rd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Roberto Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Gustavo Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Guimarães. 卡納里尼奧 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 9 minutes, Cacá de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobo Guará and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Cacá de Lara. In the 16th minute of the match, Gustavo Nunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Vítor Guimarães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá de Lara in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Vítor Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cacá de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Cacá de Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Vítor Guimarães. The goal made the score 2-0. Cacá de Laras short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got João Vítor Guimarães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jorginho Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Elias Damasceno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Baiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Damasceno to make the kick off. Eliseu Alagoano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Baiano. Roberto Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobo Guará's Claudinei Tande was substituted for Cacá de Lara. Lobo Guará's Albertinho Leite was substituted for Rodriguinho Motta. Gustavo Nunes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Agostinho Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Roberto Baiano made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Jorginho Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Lobo Guará made a substitution. João Augusto Salgado replaced Giovanni Sergipano. In the 70th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Lobo Guará's Claudinei Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Vítor Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Jorginho Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobo Guará's João Augusto Salgado suffered a sore foot after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Amílton Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 卡納里尼奧 FC's protests and gave Amílton Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. Amílton Marinho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo Guará's zone, Eliseu Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Baiano came out of the goal and Eliseu Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Nunes in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Severino da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Claudinei Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Vítor Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobo Guará fans cheered their team off the field, for while 卡納里尼奧 FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
