With a little luck, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's João Augusto Velasco got control of the ball when Gavril Niculiță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valer Maleș kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Antunes in the 14th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Nechifor Oargă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Velasco was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Edgar Drăgan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nechifor Oargă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Sfârlea's late challenge caught a SANTOS FC- FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Augusto Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Sfârlea in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Wilson Andrade notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă. Nechifor Oargă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Augusto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Sbârcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nechifor Oargă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Oargă came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Marcelinho Antunes. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gavril Niculiță charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavril Niculiță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gavril Niculiță kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Nechifor Oargă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Andrade in the 89th minute of play. If Didi Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Luiz Fábio Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
