Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gurdurão's Willian Siqueira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Willian Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Nóbrega was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Willian Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Narciso Donatello got a free kick in the 10th minute. Benedito Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Siqueira in the 15th minute of the match. Cássio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Narusēvičs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Siqueira came free, but Benedito Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Mazinho Tróia got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute, Luciano do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Ricardo Narusēvičs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cássio Amaral. The goal made the score 2-0. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Narusēvičs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cássio Amaral made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goalkeeper Cássio Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Narusēvičs. If Ademir Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ademir Carvalho went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

Cássio Amaral came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Ricardo Narusēvičs. But to his dismay, Ricardo Narusēvičs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Willian Siqueira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benedito Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cássio Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Duarte in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the game Eriberto Duarte made a throw-in which Ricardo Narusēvičs played forward. Narciso Donatello hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ricardo Narusēvičs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Narciso Donatello got a free kick in the 79th minute. Carlos Alberto Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Carlos Alberto Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Carlos Alberto Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Willian Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galo do Japi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
