The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Rocha was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in HollywooDogs's zone, Wilson Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Nogueira came out of the goal and Wilson Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Zé Carlos Cordeiro was substituted for Anselmo Batista. Vânderson Nogueira was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Paulo Renato Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Renato Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. HollywooDogs's Ademar Santana was substituted for César Loureiro. After 66 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Mete Gøl. After 68 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Bittencourt. Mauro de Salles came out of the goal and Wellington Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes of play, HollywooDogs's Wellington Berger made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nova Iguaçu MZFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
